Best seafood and view right on the harbor of SD bay. Staff was wonderful, food is delicious, views are 5 star. The have a heated patio and valet and paid parking up front. A gem to local and tourists to eat at! Worth every taste and penny.

The ambiance was amazing, very well lit with comfy spacious seating, decorative lighting and natural light from the floor to ceiling windows facing the bay. Customer service was on point. The wagyu bacon and cheese burger my husband ordered was very good, not amazing. The "truffle" fries were fresh, lightly salted with a sprinkle of garlic? So so. My bowl of clam chowder was meh, tiny and few clams, half cup of cubed potatoes and a sprinkle of bacon. Wish it were thicker and more flavorful. This is the 2nd Brigantine I've visited.

My wife ordered the shrimp and crab Louie salad! Also a cup of Clam Chowder! I ordered the grilled octopus to start! Then the sandabs for dinner! Our server was nice and friendly! Real hungry

Kudos on a great happy hour! I wandered in after a few hours at the maritime museum and just wanted some oysters and while, while looking out over the ships and sea. The house wine and oysters were exactly what I was looking for, plus a tuna slider . Everyone was super friendly. I was only sad that happy hour seating is limited to the bar area so I couldn't cozy up right next to the window on the water as I had hoped. I get it though. Great spot on the water!

It was just lovely. Our retirement party of 18 had reserved the Water Front Room with a balcony looking out to the water. The food - all the way from the apps to dessert were all very good and flavorful, and our guest of honor was thrilled with the evening! Our two servers (Tanner and James) were so cordial and accommodating - it ran as smooth as silk. Thank you! it will not be the last time we are there!

Came here for Valentine's Day dinner and the food and service were good! We got 3 drinks, 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. For appetizers we got oysters, crab cake and clams. All were tasty and good portions (most the crab cake and the clams) For the entrees we got the macadamia crusted mahi and the swordfish. The fish were tasty but the risotto that came with the dish was a bit undercooked as we could feel some grains were hard in the center. Overall it was good though! For dessert we got the apple crisp which was a decent size as well! Including the 3 drinks we got I felt like we were able to get good quality food, service, and ambiance for an affordable price!

Lovely dinner with amazing service. The views here are stunning! Blackened Salmon - the salmon had charred exterior and was super tender! This entree was a generous portion of salmon & veggies. The creamy sauce with charred kale was the perfect addition. This entree had a lot of onions (which I enjoyed) but as an fyi to those who do not For dessert we had the mud pie and it was more like a huge slice of coffee ice cream cake. DELICIOUS Our server Mariah was kind, attentive, & helped the bday girl feel special on her day

Hanging out at a cool restaurant with a cocktail in hand, watching boats & stand up paddle boarders float by is my idea of a calm & relaxing day. I had such a day at Brigantine and although the skies were overcast, it didn't change the fact that I was enjoying the moment anyway. #ilovecoldweather THE FOOD. - Fresh Steamed Clams | I strangely loved the lemon grass which seemed to cut through the red curry-coconut broth; adding zesty and herbal notes for a harmonious blend of flavors. The clams, swimming in this beautiful broth, were tender and briny in taste. Highly recommend if you're in the search for something off the beaten path. - Brig Chowder | You know it's a good bowl of chowder when you don't have to search for the clams. However, I found a piece of plastic packaging in mine and chewed on it for a bit before realizing it wasn't clam. The waitress promptly replaced my dish and comped it from our bill. - Golden Ale-Battered Cod Fish & Chips | Cod is king (mildly fishy & delicately flaky) and the batter was perfectly light & crispy. It comes with garlic parmesan fries, housemade tartar & cocktail sauce. Absolutely try this dish out! - Macadamia Crusted Mahi | Mild, flaky Mahi fish combined with the nutty taste of macadamia nuts. A lemon beurre blanc (white butter sauce) is poured on top for added richness. It also comes with a side of creamy parmesan risotto & vegetables. Another dish I highly recommend trying. THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Second Chance Beer Co. (Mulligan Amber Ale) | Malty caramel sweetness. - Passionfruit Margarita | Tequila with passion fruit purée, lime juice, and tajin rim. The flavor profile is a vibrant mix of sweet, tangy, and slightly tart. THE PARKING. There's a parking lot in front of the restaurant, but it quickly fills up. If that happens, you can do valet or park further down the street and walk over. THE RESERVATION. Yeah, make reservations online, this place can get busy. THE RETURN? I'd come back. The vibe is great and so is the food.
